On-Site Property Manager / Live-in Caretaker
Location: Solara at Water’s Edge @ Lake Wabamun, Lakefront RV Resort

Position Overview
Solara at Water’s Edge is seeking a dependable, community-minded On-Site Property Manager(s) to live on the property year-round and oversee daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and is comfortable working independently.
The Property manager serves as the primary on-site contact for guests, seasonal residents, and group events. Responsibilities include maintaining resort standards, overseeing and participating in property care and maintenance, conducting nightly security rounds, facility tours, responding to emergencies as needed, and communicating promptly with ownership whenever issues arise. Year-round living quarters are provided as part of the compensation package.
Key Responsibilities
Resort Operations
- Maintain a professional on-site presence.
- Support guests, seasonal residents, and group events as the primary on-site contact for any issues.
- Respond to emails and assist with basic administrative communication.
- Monitor arrivals, departures, and overall site compliance.
- Register ATVs, golf carts, and boats approved for resort use.
- Ensure residents and guests adhere to resort rules to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Tour prospective customers for Event facilities and Seasonal campsites as requested by the ownership.
Property Care & Grounds
- Oversee and participate in upkeep (cleaning and maintaining) of common areas, amenities, and beach frontage.
- Perform regular beach clean-ups and grounds inspections.
- Complete minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, resetting breakers) and coordinate larger maintenance issues with ownership approval.
- Ensure washrooms, docks, and shared spaces are clean, safe, and presentable.
Security & Emergency Response
- Conduct nightly security rounds as directed by the ownership.
- Respond to emergencies like water leaks, power outages, or disturbances.
- Act as the first on-site contact and notify ownership immediately of issues.
- Contact emergency services as necessary.

Qualifications
- Experience in property management, resort operations, maintenance, or a similar role preferred.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be willing to live on-site year-round.
- Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check.
Compensation
